He was born on 16 September 1963, in Nicosia. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 1986. He practised as a lawyer between 1989-1995.
On 1 November 1995, he was appointed a District Court Judge, on 13 February 2006, a District Court Senior Judge and on 1 October 2010, District Court President. Within this period, he served as a Member Judge and as President of various District Courts and the Assize Court.
On 16 September 2014, he was appointed a Supreme Court Judge. He is a member of the Supreme Council of Judicature.
