TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS

Gülden Çiftçioğlu was born on 9 March 1962 in Nicosia. She graduated from Famagusta Namık Kemal High School in 1980 and from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 1984. She practised as a lawyer until 15 September 1993.

She was appointed as a District Court Judge on September 15, 1993, a Senior District Court Judge on April 16, 2002, a President to District Court on June 1, 2008 and a Supreme Court Judge on September 16, 2014.

After completing her master’s degree from EMU Faculty of Law, on International Law-European Union Law, she completed her PhD from Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences on European Union Law and received her doctorate degree.
